The images present responses to events worldwide, from the COVID-19 pandemic to Black Lives Matter protests and to the US election in November. The exhibition will continue to grow alongside the Instagram archive, eventually encompassing 1,000 images. My image was entitled ‘Paradise Lost,’ taken in Maui, Hawaii a few years before the fires that destroyed Lahaina, which is in the distance.
